Trinity Church, located on Queen Anne Square in Newport, Rhode Island, is a Georgian parish church founded in 1698 as the oldest Episcopal parish in the state. Designed by architect Richard Munday and constructed in 1725–26, the building ranks among the largest extant eighteenth-century New England churches. During the mid-eighteenth century, it housed New England's largest Anglican congregation.
