Trinity Church, located in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, is an Episcopal parish church designed by Henry Hobson Richardson and completed in 1877. Built for a congregation founded in 1733, the structure exemplifies the Richardsonian Romanesque style that Richardson pioneered, blending Romanesque Revival elements with his distinctive architectural vision. The building, now a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, continues to serve a parish of approximately 4,000 households and is known for its prominent choirs and active role in community service and Christian education.
