Truist Park is a Major League Baseball stadium in Cumberland, an unincorporated community in Cobb County, Georgia, approximately 10 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta. Designed by Populous and opened in 2017, it serves as the home of the Atlanta Braves. Originally named SunTrust Park, the venue was renamed Truist Park in 2020 following a bank merger. The ballpark was constructed through a public–private partnership with a total project budget exceeding $1.1 billion, combining $622 million for the stadium itself with additional investment in The Battery Atlanta, a mixed-use development. The first regular season game was played on April 14, 2017, against the San Diego Padres.
