Truist Plaza is a 60-story, 265-meter postmodern skyscraper in downtown Atlanta designed by John C. Portman Jr. of John Portman & Associates. Constructed between 1989 and 1992, it originally bore the name One Peachtree Center. After Portman sold half his interest to SunTrust Banks in the mid-1990s, the financial institution relocated its headquarters to the building and renamed it SunTrust Plaza. Following a 2021 merger between SunTrust Banks and BB&T, the building took its current name, Truist Plaza. Standing as the world's 28th tallest building upon completion, it features a rotating light element and is currently the second-tallest structure in Atlanta.
