Mitchell Hollow Union Chapel, a historic wood-frame chapel built in 1897 in Windham, Greene County, New York, exemplifies Neoclassical design through its fully pedimented portico and two-stage bell tower. The one-story structure, arranged in a three-by-three-bay plan and clad in narrow clapboards, rests on a stone and concrete foundation. Constructed jointly by local Methodist Episcopal and Presbyterian congregations, the chapel reflects the cooperative religious spirit of rural New York in the late nineteenth century. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
