Upper Weyanoke is a historic plantation complex near Charles City, Virginia, comprising two structures that document the property's evolution across the nineteenth century. A modest one-and-a-half-story cottage, probably built by John Minge around 1815 as a dependency to an earlier main house, stands alongside a larger two-story brick residence erected in 1858–59 for Robert Douthat. The main house exemplifies the Greek Revival style and employs a side-hall plan more typical of urban dwellings than rural plantation architecture, distinguishing it from contemporary country estates. The property was designated a Virginia Historic Landmark and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
