The Uptown–Parker–Gray Historic District encompasses 984 contributing buildings in the northwestern quadrant of Alexandria, Virginia, occupying the street grid as originally laid out in 1797. Predominantly composed of small row houses and town houses alongside numerous commercial structures, the district represents a range of nineteenth-century architectural styles, particularly Greek Revival and Queen Anne. The district also includes over 200 units of public housing constructed between the early 1940s and 1959 as Colonial Revival-style row houses. The historic district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
