The Vacherie du Parc is a former municipal dairy designed by architect Tony Garnier and completed in 1904 in Lyon's Parc de la Tête d'Or. Commissioned by the city and situated along the Allée des Moutons in the Lyon Zoo, the building was conceived to supply milk for Lyon's orphans and housed a stable, milk pasteurization facility, and quarters for cowherds. The dairy proved inefficient and closed in 1919, when operations transferred to the Agricultural School of Cibeins in Misérieux. Following conversion into a rearing house during the 1920s, the building now serves administrative functions.
