The Vernon Parish Courthouse in Leesville, Louisiana, built in 1910, exemplifies Classical Revival design with its stuccoed masonry walls and monumental pedimented porticos on all four facades. The building's distinctive X-shaped plan results from small projecting wings at each corner positioned between the porticos. A defining feature is the third-floor Baroque domed cupola, each face fitted with a clock, rising above the structure's two main floors. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, the courthouse continues to serve as part of the 30th Judicial District Court of Louisiana.
