Constructed in 1867, the Vieste Lighthouse stands 27 meters tall on the islet of Santa Eufemia, positioned between the rocks of Santa Croce and San Francesco opposite the town of Vieste in Apulia, Italy. The lighthouse remains active and occupies a strategically important location for shipping lanes in the middle and lower Adriatic Sea.
