Villa Malfitano Whitaker stands on Via Dante in Palermo's Politeama quarter, a Renaissance Revival mansion completed in 1889 by architect Ignazio Greco. Built as a private residence, the villa now functions as a museum housing the original owner's extensive natural history and archaeological collections alongside his artwork. Recognized as Italian national heritage, it exemplifies the grand villas that flourished in late-nineteenth-century Palermo.
