Visborg was a medieval fortress in Visby on the Swedish island of Gotland, built by King Erik of Pomerania, ruler of the Kalmar Union, around 1500. The castle served as Erik's residence following his deposition and functioned as a significant Danish stronghold until its destruction in 1679. Today only fragments of its walls remain, overlooking Visby's harbor. The ruins are registered as an ancient monument.
