Located on United States Route 79 in Wabbaseka, Arkansas, this single-story masonry church was constructed in 1925 for a Methodist congregation established nearly fifty years earlier in 1870. Built in the Classical Revival style, it stands as the only local example of this architectural tradition in the area. The Methodist Episcopal Church, South congregation eventually reunited with broader Methodist organizations and became the Wabbaseka United Methodist Church.
