Located in Cuba, Missouri, the Wagon Wheel Motel, Café and Station is a 19-room Tudor Revival structure that has served Route 66 travelers continuously since 1938. Originally established as a café in 1936, the property expanded to include a motel and filling station, creating a classic roadside hospitality complex. Though the filling station no longer operates and the original café has been repurposed as a retail store, the motel rooms have been preserved with modern upgrades—a 2010 restoration added amenities such as HDTV and wireless Internet while maintaining the building's historic character. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2003, the Wagon Wheel remains an independently owned landmark of the Route 66 era.
