The Westside Service Station and Riverside Motel in Eureka, Kansas, is a mixed-use complex that evolved across three decades of mid-twentieth-century roadside hospitality architecture. Built beginning in 1939, the office and café building exemplifies Tudor Revival style with its steeply pitched roof, while a one-story Ranch-style motel addition followed around 1950–55. Three woodframe sleeping cabins with attached carports, faced in distinctive limestone, reflect the regional Ozark Giraffe architectural vernacular. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012, the complex preserves the layered history of automotive-era American lodging and dining.
