Walthall School, a Mission Revival structure erected in 1902 at 601 Court Street in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, served as a public school building for nearly a century until 1987. Designed by architect Robert E. Lee, the building exemplifies the Mission Revival style popular in early twentieth-century American institutional architecture. Now recognized as a Mississippi Landmark (designated 1988) and a contributing property within the Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood District, which gained National Register status in 1980, Walthall School remains an important example of the city's educational heritage.
