The Warehouse premises of Hardware (Bristol) Limited, located on Old Bread Street in Bristol, is a striking example of Bristol Byzantine architecture built in 1882 by William Bruce Gingell. Constructed in red brick with decorative white and black brick details, the building originally served as part of Christopher Thomas and Brothers' soap works before later housing the hardware company. Its distinctive style exemplifies the Byzantine Revival taste that flourished in Victorian Bristol, and it has been recognized as a Grade II listed building by English Heritage.
