Robinson's Warehouse stands on Bathurst Parade overlooking Bristol's Floating Harbour, a striking example of Byzantine Revival architecture completed in 1874. Designed by William Bruce Gingell, the structure exemplifies the distinctive Bristol Byzantine style, featuring distinctive yellow and red brick patterning with Moorish arches. Originally built as a warehouse for Robinson's Oil Seed Manufactory—later known as Warriner's Warehouse—the building's practical industrial purpose was expressed through boldly decorative architectural language. The interior was substantially reconstructed as offices in 1981, modernizing its function while carefully preserving the ornamental exterior. Recognized as a Grade II listed building by English Heritage, Robinson's Warehouse remains an important testament to Victorian commercial architecture and Bristol's industrial heritage.
