The Warner Theatre, located at 68–82 Main Street in Torrington, Connecticut, is an Art Deco movie palace designed by architect Thomas W. Lamb and opened on August 19, 1931, as part of the Warner Bros. theater chain. Deemed the finest surviving Modernistic theatre in Connecticut, the building exemplifies the grandeur of Depression-era cinema architecture. Today it operates as a mixed-use performing arts center and is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as a contributing property in the Downtown Torrington Historic District.
