The Washburn Public Library in Washburn, Wisconsin is a Carnegie library completed in 1904, marking the first permanent home for the city's library program, which had operated from City Hall since 1891. Designed by architect Henry Wildhagen in the Neoclassical style, the brownstone building features a symmetrical façade with a portico entry framed by Ionic columns, three paired windows flanking each side of the entrance, and matching chimneys at either end. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, the library continues to serve the community today.
