Washington–Kosciusko Elementary School in Winona, Minnesota is a Streamline Moderne school building constructed in 1934 as part of Winona Public Schools' ambitious early twentieth-century expansion program implementing progressive educational reforms. Built as a Public Works Administration project—the largest federal relief program of the New Deal—the school was the fourth of five new facilities developed by the district during this transformative period. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012, it is recognized for its significance in documenting both the evolution of Winona's educational system and the impact of New Deal infrastructure initiatives on American public education.
