The Weaver Mercantile Building, constructed in 1875 in the unincorporated Minnesota community of Weaver, exemplifies the Italianate commercial architecture that flourished along the Mississippi River valley during the nineteenth century. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, the building was recognized for its local historical significance in both architecture and commerce, standing as one of the few surviving commercial structures from Weaver's era as a thriving river community. Its well-preserved form reflects the Renaissance Revival style characteristic of mercantile buildings of its period and region.
