Designed by Erich Mendelsohn and completed in 1937, the Weizmann House in Rehovot, Israel, is an International Style residence that once served as the home of Chaim Weizmann, the nation's first President, and his wife Vera. Perched atop a hillside, the house exemplifies modernist principles in its form and materiality. Today it functions as a museum and remains part of the Weizmann Institute of Science, operating as a protected heritage site in Israel.
