Wheel of Fortune is a Georgian-style historic home near Leipsic, Delaware, built in the eighteenth century and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. The two-story, five-bay dwelling is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a gable roof with a single-bay entrance portico on its front facade. One room deep in plan, it includes a two-story rear wing that originally housed a kitchen and servants' quarters. Outbuildings on the property—a meat house and milk house—also contribute to its historic significance. The estate was owned by Congressman John A. Nicholson before 1888 and later by U.S. Senator James H. Hughes, who acquired it in 1910. The property's name, predating owner John Chance's 1738 acquisition by at least three years, derives from land along Muddy Branch south of Leipsic, despite local tradition attributing it to a play on Chance's surname.
