Whitbourne Hall is a Greek Revival country house located in the village of Whitbourne in Herefordshire, near the Worcestershire border. Built in 1860 by architect E. W. Elmslie—who also designed Great Malvern railway station—the hall was commissioned by Edward Bickerton Evans, an amateur archaeologist who had accumulated his wealth through his family's vinegar factory. Robert Lewis Roumieu, the Gothic Revival architect responsible for the London headquarters of Evans's firm Hill and Evans, is believed to have designed the house's conservatory. Today the Grade II* listed building sits within eight acres of gardens and has been converted into twenty-three private residences, though it continues to function as a venue for weddings, corporate events, and cultural performances including theatre and choral productions.
