The William Alfred Moore House in Mount Airy, Surry County, North Carolina, is the earliest known structure still standing in that town. Built between 1861 and 1863, the Gothic Revival residence showcases an eclectic architectural vocabulary that blends Italianate and Gothic Revival exterior details with Greek Revival interiors. The property is distinguished by a rare hexagonal gazebo dating to around 1865, constructed with wood poles and walls of laurel root. Now owned by the Mount Airy Restoration Foundation, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
