The William Cullen Bryant Homestead in Cummington, Massachusetts, is the boyhood home and later summer residence of the celebrated 19th-century poet and newspaper editor William Cullen Bryant (1794–1878). Sited on 155 acres overlooking the Westfield River Valley, the Victorian-era house exemplifies the domestic architecture of its period. Now designated a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the homestead is operated by the Trustees of Reservations and welcomes visitors for guided tours on weekend afternoons during summer and early fall months.
