The William Kirby Walsh House in Jackson, Tennessee is an Italianate residence constructed between 1873 and 1875 for William Kirby Walsh, co-founder of the First National Bank of Jackson. The house passed to his daughter Jennie upon his death and remained in the Walsh-Sullivan family—Jennie's husband Benton O. Sullivan was part-owner of Sullivan, McCall & Co., a clothing business—until Jennie's death in 1935, when the structure was subdivided into four apartments. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1993, the house exemplifies the ornamental Italianate style favored by prosperous merchants and bankers during the mid-19th century.
