The William Sauntry House and Recreation Hall in Stillwater, Minnesota, is a historic property comprising a Queen Anne–style residence built in 1880 and a 1902 recreation hall styled as a Moorish palace. Built for prosperous lumberman William Sauntry, the complex reflects the wealth and architectural ambitions of a local industrialist. The recreation hall stands as one of Minnesota's finest examples of a folly and represents a rare application of Moorish Revival architecture in the state. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 for its architectural and industrial significance, the property has since been divided: the mansion now serves as an office while the recreation hall has been restored as a private residence.
