The Winchester Repeating Arms Company Historic District in New Haven, Connecticut, is a sprawling historic district encompassing 867 properties that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. At its heart lies a 75-acre tract of the former Winchester Repeating Arms Company, an industrial complex that dominated the district and served as an economic anchor for the adjoining residential neighborhoods. The district's 876 contributing structures—predominantly residential buildings in the Renaissance Revival architectural style—surround this manufacturing core. Following the plant's closure, portions of the industrial site have been repurposed, including operation by Science Park at Yale, a business incubator affiliated with Yale University, reflecting the district's ongoing evolution while preserving its architectural and historical significance.
