The Wood–Hughes House, located at 614 South Austin in Brenham, Texas, is a Late Victorian dwelling built in 1897 by owners W. A. and Fannie Wood, who employed high-quality lumber and stone-like siding in its construction. The house exemplifies the Stick style characteristic of the era. It was purchased by planter and rancher Henry W. Hughes in 1913, after whom it is now named. The building bears architectural similarity to the F. W. Schuerenberg House, also situated in Brenham. The Wood–Hughes House was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark and added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 29, 1990.
