The Worthy Hotel, built in 1895 at 1571 Main Street in Springfield, Massachusetts, is a Renaissance Revival structure that once served as the city's premier commercial and tourist accommodation. Originally featuring 250 rooms and positioned two blocks south of Springfield Union Station, it dominated Springfield's hospitality landscape until the Hotel Kimball's opening in 1911. The building's period of greatest prominence spanned from 1895 to 1925. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, it is recognized for both its architectural significance and its role in the city's commercial history. Today it functions as an apartment building.
