The Yeni Hamam in Thessaloniki is an Ottoman-period bathhouse built in the last quarter of the sixteenth century by Khusref Kenkhuda, a local property owner who likely served as administrator for the Vizier Sokolou Mehmet Pasha. Designed as a double hammam with separate facilities for men and women arranged in the traditional layout, the structure exemplifies Ottoman architectural practice in the Greek city. Today it survives as an archaeological site at the corner of Kassandros and Agios Nikolaos streets.
