The Green Tomb in Bursa is a mausoleum built in 1421 by Ottoman Sultan Murad II to honor his father, Mehmed I, who had recently died. Designed by architect Hacı İvaz Paşa in the Ottoman architectural style, the structure stands opposite the Yeşil Mosque, also designed by the same architect. Beyond the sultan's own sarcophagus, the tomb houses seven additional burials: those of Mehmed's three sons (Mustafa, Mahmud, and Yusuf), three daughters (Selçuk, Ayşe, and Sitti), and his wet nurse, Daye Hatun.
