Yokohama Marine Tower is a 106-metre lattice tower completed in 1961 by Shimizu Corporation, rising above Yamashitachō in Naka Ward, Yokohama. Originally built as a functional lighthouse and observation tower, it features an observation deck at 100 metres above ground. The tower's light characteristic alternates red and green in a flash every twenty seconds. Originally lit green and red along its shaft at night, the lighting was changed to white following the tower's reopening in May 2009.
