Located in the town of Ōsaki in Kagoshima Prefecture, the Yokose Kofun is a keyhole-shaped burial mound dating to the mid-to-late 5th century during Japan's Kofun period. Constructed in the zenpō-kōen-fun style—a distinctive form featuring a square front section and circular rear mound—it ranks as the second largest tumulus in Kagoshima Prefecture. The site was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1943.
