Completed in 2007, 1101 New York Avenue is a glass-clad high-rise in Washington, D.C. designed by architect Kevin Roche. Rising 50 metres (160 feet) across 12 floors and totaling 380,000 square feet, the building features notched corners that maximize office windows. Tied for the 20th tallest structure in the city, it serves as home to Google's public policy offices, the headquarters of the National Retail Federation, and an Ernst & Young office, where former Ernst & Young Global Chairman and CEO Mark Weinberger has been based.
