Akamonue Kofun is a keyhole-shaped burial mound dating to the late 4th century, located in the Uchinō neighborhood of Hamana-ku, Hamamatsu, Shizuoka in Japan's Tōkai region. As a zenpō-kōen-fun—the characteristic Japanese tomb form combining a rectangular and circular section—it exemplifies the monumental funerary architecture of the early Kofun period. The site was designated a Shizuoka Prefecture Historic Site in 1979, recognizing its significance as an archaeological record of elite burial practices in ancient Japan.
