Designed by Neave Brown in 1968 and constructed between 1972 and 1978, the Alexandra Road Estate is a brutalist housing complex in the London Borough of Camden, North London. Built from board-marked, white reinforced concrete cast on site, the estate comprises 520 apartments alongside a school, community centre, youth club, heating complex, tenants hall, and parkland. Its main thoroughfare, Rowley Way, gave the development an alternative name. The estate's striking modernist aesthetic has secured its Grade II* listed status, and the construction process was notably documented in the 1970s television series The Sweeney.
