Alumni Hall is a Collegiate Gothic residence dormitory built in 1931 by the architectural firm Maginnis & Walsh on the South Quad of the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. One of the university's oldest and largest residence halls, it accommodates 234 undergraduates and stands adjacent to Main Circle, across from the law school building. During World War II, the hall served as housing for officers participating in the V-12 Navy College Training Program. Alumni Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is known among students for its intense rivalry with Dillon Hall and its distinctive traditions, including the Alumni Hall Wake.
