Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1956 and completed in 1961, stands as one of the architect's final works, finished after his death. The building reinterprets traditional Byzantine architectural forms through a modernist lens, featuring a distinctive shallow scalloped dome reminiscent of Wright's Marin County Civic Center in California. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the church exemplifies Wright's late-career synthesis of historical architectural vocabulary with contemporary design principles.
