The Astor Home for Children, located in Rhinebeck, New York, is a Jacobean Revival structure designed by McKim, Mead & White and completed in 1914 for Vincent Astor. Originally established as Holiday Farm in nearby Rhinecliff in 1904, the facility was relocated and redesigned as a children's institution under Astor's patronage. Catholic Charities assumed ownership following Astor's death and continues to operate the building, now providing mental health services to children on both inpatient and outpatient bases. Though mid-20th-century additions expanded the complex, sufficient original architecture survives to merit the building's 1987 listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
