Located on a small hillock along the Delhi-Gurgaon Road in South Delhi, Azim Khan's Tomb commemorates a general of the Mughal Army through a 17th-century structure of characteristic Mughal design. The monument features a square footprint crowned with a plaster-coated dome embellished with carved ornamentation. Following the decline of Mughal power, British soldiers repurposed the tomb as a recreational site during their rule in India. Today, it is recognized as a Monument of National Importance.
