Bab al-Faraj, meaning the Gate of Deliverance, was one of nine principal gates piercing the ancient city walls of Aleppo, Syria. Built in the Islamic architectural tradition and positioned on the city's northern side, the gate once served as a major entrance to the medieval metropolis. The structure was ruined in 1904, though fragmentary remains survive at its northeastern section, testimony to Aleppo's layered history.
