Built in 1910 in Burbank, Oklahoma, the Bank of Burbank is a modest single-story commercial structure of native sandstone with coursed ashlar finish, measuring roughly 15 by 25 feet and topped by a three-foot parapet on three sides. An exemplar of Richardsonian Romanesque style, it is one of four such bank buildings erected in Osage County between 1904 and 1911. The bank weathered the Great Depression but closed in 1948, after which the building served as the town's post office for three decades before being converted to a private residence. Now standing alone on the northwest corner of First and McCorkle Streets, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
