The Television Cultural Center in Beijing's Chaoyang District is a 159-meter, 34-story deconstructivist skyscraper designed by Rem Koolhaas and completed in 2009. Located on East Third Ring Road in the Central Business District, the building combines a hotel, theater, and multiple television studios beneath its distinctive architectural form. Originally scheduled to open in May 2009, a major fire during construction delayed the building's inauguration until May 16, 2012.
