The Berwyn Health Center, located at 6600 W. 26th Street in Berwyn, Illinois, is a historic public health clinic built in 1938–39 with funding from the Public Works Administration. Designed by local architect Vladimir J. Novak, the building blends Art Deco and Moderne architectural styles—geometric massing characteristic of Art Deco paired with the horizontal banding typical of Moderne design. Constructed to house an expanding health department that managed vaccination efforts, food inspection, and Depression-era relief programs, the health center was one of three major civic buildings erected in Berwyn during this period. The structure remains in active use as a health clinic and government office and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
