The Borden-Pond House, located at 40 Laurel Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, is a stone villa constructed around 1856 and completed by 1861. A prominent early example of Second Empire architecture blended with Italianate style, it stands as one of a select few stone villas remaining in the neighborhood from a period when such residences were more numerous. The house's second owner, Lucius Pond, was a significant local machinist. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
