City Gate, formerly known as Büro Center Nibelungenplatz and Shell Tower, is a 27-storey modernist office skyscraper completed in 1966 in Frankfurt's Nordend-West district. Standing 110 metres tall, it was among Frankfurt's first buildings to exceed 50 metres and remains the tallest structure in the Nordend district. Designed by Novotny Mähner Assoziierte, the tower occupies Nibelungenplatz, a major junction in the neighbourhood.
