The Busan Lotte Tower is a 108-floor supertall skyscraper designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill for a site adjacent to Nampo-dong station in Busan, South Korea. The tower, centerpiece of the new Busan Lotte Town development, is planned to rise 510.1 meters and is shaped to resemble a standing ship, referencing the city's harbour heritage. The complex unfolds across four phases: the first phase, completed in 2009, included a department store; a second addition finished in 2010; and a third phase with market and cinema completed in 2014. The final phase—the skyscraper itself—will accommodate retail on floors 1–11, offices from 12–36, residences from 41–78, a luxury hotel from 82–104, and public access floors 107–110 featuring an observation deck. Underground parking will accommodate over 2,400 vehicles. Construction halted in September 2013 due to insufficient funding but resumed as of August 2023, with completion estimated for 2028.
